Summary
The Mobility, related pollutions, and cardiovascular health (MobiCard) research project aims to better describe the individual exposures to which we are subjected in our daily travels (air pollution, noise, etc.) and to analyze their short-term effects on various cardiorespiratory parameters (blood pressure, respiration, etc.).
To achieve this, we aim to create a group of volunteers from among the residents of the Lille urban area. Each participant will be equipped, for one week, with portable personal sensors to record their movements, environmental exposures, and health parameters. The originality of the MobiCard project lies in this individual and continuous monitoring of volunteers in their daily lives. By refining our understanding of the links between behaviors, exposures, and health, the MobiCard project should contribute to better protection of human health and the environment.
The project is currently in the development phase. Volunteer recruitment is expected to begin in late 2025 and will last for approximately two years.
