Current trend in air pollution exposure and stroke

This updated literature review examines the links between air pollution and stroke, integrating the effects of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and ozone, in addition to particulate matter. It highlights the importance of pollutant characteristics, emission sources, stroke types, and individual vulnerabilities in the observed relationships. The article calls for advanced methodological approaches to better characterize these complex relationships.
